Radiator cover help and FAQs
About covers
What is a magnetic radiator cover?
A magnetic radiator cover is a printed panel that sits on the flat front of a steel radiator and is held on by magnets. Ours are printed to the size of your radiator, need no glue, screws or tools, and lift off for cleaning.
Is a magnetic cover better than a wooden radiator cabinet?
It depends what you need. A magnetic cover is flat, fits the radiator front exactly and needs no fixing, so it comes with you when you move. In a 2016 Liverpool John Moores University study, a radiator with a magnetic cover was 13 to 20% more efficient than the same radiator inside a traditional wooden cover. A cabinet boxes in the whole radiator and can double as a shelf. A magnetic cover only covers the front panel.
How much does a cover cost?
Printed covers and RadiMatch cost £100 per square metre of radiator front, and nursery covers £150 per square metre. A 1000 × 600mm printed cover is £60. Mirrored covers come in set sizes, so ask us for prices. UK mainland delivery is included.
Delivery
How long does delivery take?
Printed covers usually arrive in 10 to 28 days.
How much is delivery?
UK mainland delivery is included in the price. International delivery costs £25 to £35.
Fitting and care
Will a cover fit my radiator?
Hold a fridge magnet to the front. If it sticks, a cover will hold. Covers don't suit towel rails, steam radiators or storage heaters.
How does it go on?
It's held on by magnets. No glues, no screws, no tools.
Can I clean behind it?
Yes. Lift it off, clean behind it, put it back.
Heat
Does a cover stop the heat?
A 2016 Liverpool John Moores University study measured the heat output of a radiator bare, under a magnetic cover and inside a traditional wooden cover. With the magnetic cover, the radiator was 13 to 20% more efficient than with the wooden cover. That compares covers with wooden covers, not with a bare radiator.

Photos and designs
What photo works best?
The largest version you have, straight from the camera if you can. We check it against your radiator size when you upload it and tell you if it might print soft.
Can I use any image?
Only images you own or have permission to use. You tick a box to confirm this when you upload.
Orders and returns
Can I return a cover?
Made-to-measure covers can't be returned unless they're faulty. Check your size and crop before you order.
